RETAIL LIQUOR SPECIALISTS GROUP (RLSG) LOYALTY REWARDS – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Introduction

These terms and Conditions form the basis of the Retail Liquor Specialists Group(RLSG) Loyalty Rewards Program.

Membership

  1. Only individuals may be members of the Loyalty Rewards Program. Membership is free. A person who is invited to become a member can apply in the ways provided by Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG); and will be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as varied from time to time, upon acceptance by Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) (for written applications forms) or upon the member using their Rewards Program member card or entering into any transaction that would, give rise to Loyalty Rewards points. These Terms and Conditions will apply to all Loyalty Rewards Program transactions, whether before or after these Terms and Conditions become binding.
  2. Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) may refuse any application
  3. Points will not be credited until these Terms and Conditions become binding.
  4. Loyalty Reward Program member cards are issued on the basis of one card per individual.
  5. Loyalty Rewards Program memberships will become effective on the date of the card issue.
  6. A member must notify Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) immediately of any change of address or of a lost or stolen membership card. Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) is not liable for any delay in replacing a membership card or for any unauthorised use of a membership card.
  7. Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) may terminate a membership in the Loyalty Rewards Program without notice for any reason including, without limitation, if the member:
    Fails to comply with these membership Terms and Condition
    Abuses any privilege accorded to the member under the Loyalty Rewards Program.
    Supplies any misleading information or makes any misrepresentations to Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) in connection with the Loyalty Rewards Program: or
    If the member does not use their membership card for a continuous period of 12 months or dies or becomes bankrupt. After 12 months such contact details will be deleted from the Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) Loyalty Rewards Program database and the member’s point balance cancelled.
  8. A member may terminate their membership in the Loyalty Rewards Program at any time by giving written notice to Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) Upon receipt of such notice the members contact details will be noted on the Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) Loyalty Rewards Program database and the member’s point balance cancelled.
  9. Membership cards are not credit or charge cards, are not transferable and remain the property of Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG)
  10. Membership cards must be presented for all purchases and redemptions.
  11. Any tax, liability, or duty arising from a member’s participation in the Loyalty Rewards Program is the responsibility of the member.
  12. Points earned during a calendar year will carry forward to the next year if there is no redemption of points during that year.

Earning Points

  1. Points will be credited to a member’s account for purchases by the member of qualifying goods from Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG). Points may also be credited to a member’s account for promotional and incentive programs offered by Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) from time to time.
  2. In order to obtain points, a member must present their membership card at point of sale during a purchase.
  3. When making a Loyalty Rewards Program purchase the member will earn from 0.5 (half point) -1 (one) point for every $1 spent on every transaction, this will be at Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) discretion.
  4. Points and the rights they confer cannot be sold, transferred, assigned or otherwise dealt with except in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Redeeming Points

  1. In order to redeem points, a member must notify Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) before the transaction concludes that the member wishes to use their points as payment and must present their membership card at the point of sale.
  2. Photo identification may be asked to be produced in order to redeem points.

Other Deductions of Points

  1. In addition to deductions for awards claimed Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) will deduct from the points balance in a member’s account any points credited in error and any points relating to a transaction which is cancelled or reversed or where a refund is given.

Privacy Policy

  1. This policy applies to all personal information of Loyalty Rewards Members held in the Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) database. We respect the privacy of your personal information in our care and will collect personal information in a fair and lawful manner.
  2. The Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) database may comprise of any of the following personal information: Name; address; telephone number(s); electronic addresses; transaction details associated with the earning of Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) Loyalty Points and rewards provided.
  3. We may use your electronic addresses to send you from time to time various marketing communications and will give you the option of not receiving further communications of this nature.
  4. Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) will not use or disclose or permit the use of disclosure of personal information that could be used to identify any individual member in any circumstances except to ensure the proper functioning of the Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) Loyalty Rewards program in relation to the member in question; when Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) is required or authorised by law to disclose the personal information; for fraud and crime prevention and investigation; or when the member specifically consents in writing to the use or disclosure.
  5. Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) undertakes to take reasonable steps to ensure that member information is secure from any unauthorised access or disclosure.
  6. Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) assumes no responsibility for the information practices of third-party websites where a user is able to access
  7. heir websites through the Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) website, and encourages users to review each website’s privacy policy before disclosing any personal identifying information.
  8. Cookies may be used on some areas of our website. A cookie is a small file placed on a user’s hard drive which tracks website navigation. A user can refuse a cookie and still fully navigate our website.
  9. The Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) Privacy Policy is available to prospective members on the Loyalty Rewards Terms & Conditions Form
  10. The Privacy Policy may be reviewed and updated from time to time. Members will be informed of such changes via email and an updated version published on the website.

  1. Access to and use of the Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) website is subject to all applicable laws and is at the user’s own risk. The site and its contents may be incomplete and may contain faults or errors.
  2. Users of the Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) website assume all risks associated with the website’s files and programs.

General

  1. Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) reserves the right to make any changes at any time without prior notice and at Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) absolute discretion, to these Terms and Conditions. Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) will attempt to notify members of any change but shall not be liable in any way for failure to do so.
  2. Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) also reserves the right to make any changes at any time without prior notice and in their absolute discretion to the goods which are qualifying Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) goods and the number of points which members will receive as a result of acquiring such goods.
  3. Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) Loyalty Rewards Program at any time without prior notice. Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) will not be liable for the suspension or termination of the Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) Loyalty Rewards Program on any account whatsoever including (without Limitation) for any points balance in a member’s account at the time of suspension or termination.
  4. A notice shall be deemed to be given by Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) to a member if it is sent to the postal address or email address of the member, appearing in the Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) Loyalty Rewards Program database.
  5. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. Members of the Loyalty Rewards Program will be asked to provide identification that proves that they are over 18 years of age. Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) Loyalty Rewards Program membership card does not constitute valid proof of age identification.
  6. In the Terms and Conditions “Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG)” is a Company owned by Rolden Pty Ltd ABN 79149331715, or its authorised representatives, and “Retail Liquor Specialists Group (RLSG) Loyalty Rewards Program” means those arrangements by which a member collects points by purchasing qualifying goods and thereby qualifies for awards under these Terms and Conditions.
